Dana Weinberg, M.S., CCC-SLP, TSSLD
Welcome to West Village Speech Therapy! As a speech-language pathologist, Dana Weinberg believes communication is the key to living a successful life. She attests all children have the ability to communicate and that all forms of communication are good communication. She takes a play-based approach to therapy and strives to unlock the potential in every child.
Dana Weinberg graduated from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Science in Cognitive Science with a focus in Speech-Language Pathology and a double minor in Disability Studies and Human Development and Family Studies. She then went on to receive a Master of Science degree in Communicative Sciences and Disorders from New York University. Dana is a PROMPT trained speech therapist and is passionate about teaching communication skills.
Dana Weinberg has experience providing speech and language therapy services in both the schools and the private practice settings. She has worked with children birth to twenty-one and has a particular interest in neurodiversity, articulation, Childhood Apraxia of Speech and feeding therapy.
In her free time you can find her training for a marathon, hiking, or spending time traveling with her family and friends.
